Thrust Roller Bearing
Thrust roller bearings can be used to bear axial loads and radial combined loads, but the radial load must not exceed 55% of the axial load. Compared with other thrust roller bearings, this type of bearing has a lower friction coefficient, higher speed and self-aligning performance.
Thrust cylindrical roller bearings and thrust tapered roller bearings can be used in low-speed applications, and the speed of thrust tapered roller bearings is slightly higher than that of thrust cylindrical roller bearings. Thrust cylindrical roller bearings are separable bearings that can only withstand unidirectional axial loads and slight impacts, and can limit the axial displacement of the shaft (or housing) in one direction, so they can be used as unidirectional axial positioning. However, their load-bearing capacity is much greater than that of thrust ball bearings. When the roller rolls, the roller will inevitably slide on the raceway of the ring. Therefore, the limit speed of this type of bearing is lower than that of the thrust ball bearing, and is usually only suitable for low-speed applications.

Product type, design and form

Needle roller thrust bearings
It is suitable for occasions where space is limited and needs to withstand large axial loads.

Tapered roller thrust bearings
It is divided into one-way and two-way. The one-way is suitable for crane hooks and oil drilling rig swivels, and the two-way is suitable for rolling mill roll necks and other occasions.

Spherical roller thrust bearings
It has spherical performance and can adapt to the deflection between the shaft and the housing. It is commonly used in hydroelectric generators, vertical motors, ship propeller shafts, tower cranes, extruders and other equipment.

Cylindrical Roller Thrust Bearing
It is composed of cylindrical rollers, shaft rings and seat rings. It can withstand large axial loads and is mainly used in oil drilling rigs, iron and steel making machinery and other occasions.
Advantage
1.High axial load capacity: Thrust roller bearings are designed to bear axial loads and combined radial loads. They have significant axial load capacity and are suitable for situations where heavy loads and impact loads are required
2.Low friction coefficient: Thrust roller bearings have a low friction factor, which helps reduce energy loss and improve equipment efficiency
3.Higher speed: Due to their low friction coefficient, thrust roller bearings can run at higher speeds without heating easily
4.Self-aligning ability: Thrust roller bearings have a certain degree of self-aligning ability and can automatically adjust their position to a certain extent to adapt to slight misalignment or tilt of the shaft
Application
Thrust roller bearings are suitable for various mechanical equipment that need to bear axial loads, such as automobiles, construction machinery, metallurgical equipment, etc.
